It was an exciting day for many of the new first-years coming to UA High. After much anticipation, it was finally the move-in day for the dorms. While it would still be a few more days until the classes would actually begin, it was still bewildering as it felt like this was the first step of their dream becoming a reality. After dreaming about attending the school for so long, being able to actually step foot in something as simple as the dorm room still felt as if she was still inside the fantasy she had entertained for so long. Of course, the said fantasy had shattered a little when she realized how small her room actually was.
Ash had been told that the rooms would be large, giant even. Because of this, she had brought nearly everything from her room back in the United States. But to her surprise, it was shocking small. While it did make sense that it would be this small, especially when they would only be living in here for a year, she had at least thought it would be just a tiny bit larger than this. The boxes that laid in front of her appeared to make a mini-mountain in the middle of the halls, each one filled to the brim with miscellaneous items. How was she even going to cram everything into her room? She knew that it was possible, albeit difficult, but Ash was always up for a challenge. Besides, her uncle would probably let her store some stuff in his house anyways if it was really too much.
"In you go!" Ash said to herself as she lifted a particularly heavy box into her room. Thankfully, there was already a bed and a desk so she wouldn't have to worry about those aside from spreading the supplies and putting on the sheets. Aside from that, everything else was fair game. Setting down the box right next to her bed, Ash had begun to put some of her decors up before she would realize that it probably wasn't a good idea to leave her stuff outside. Decorating would be much easier if she had everything with her anyways. She would walk back outside, picking up another box to bring inside. However, even with two boxes out of the way, the mountain of boxes still stood there intimidating. It also was in an unfortunate place: right in the middle of the halls. In order to avoid it, one would have to slink by it or simply walk the other way. Still, Ash would continue doing her best moving it all in as quickly as possible. She wanted to get decorating as soon as she possibly could.
