NAME: Sir Richard Pike
CODE NAME: Paladin
ALIGNMENT: Student (First Year, started late)
TITLE: Sir Knight
AGE: 16
GENDER: Male / Boy
QUIRK: MAN AMONG MEN
QUIRK CLASSIFICATION: Mutant
QUIRK DESCRIPTION: Richard's quirk causes his body to constantly be at peak physical condition, and bodily health. His body does this by turning all consumed carbs into fats and proteins. These fats and proteins are then used to cause rapid muscle growth across the boy's body from doing only simple activities. A ten minute stroll in the park for Richard, would be as good as two hours of sprinting for an Olympic runner for example. In other words, his body is in a powerful and constant state of ketosis which has caused heavy reduction in body fat, and extreme muscle growth. This permanently causes Richard's total body fat to be between 5-6% at all times. Thanks to these enhancements, the boy is capable of matching records set by nearly any Olympian, aside from quirk using ones. Though he doesn't appear as a mutant, thanks to his quirk making him look relatively tame, his body is a passive effect.
QUIRK POWER LIMIT: Richard is capable of sprinting at 27-28 Mph, for up to 5 minutes at a time. He can high jump up to eight feet, can dead lift around 900 lbs, can bench press around 800 lbs, and can even punch with a force slightly above 1,800 PSI. The Paladin's body will always stay at the same weight, unless he becomes older.
QUIRK TECHNICAL LIMIT: There is no set time limit on how long Richard's quirk can be used, as his body itself is the quirk, however there are a few drawbacks. First and foremost, basic fatigue for athletic activity is still in effect. While his body is at the peak of human achievement, it doesn't stop him from needing rest. Different activities will tire him out faster (I.E. Running/Sprinting). Secondly, in order to keep his body in shape, Richard has to consume around 8,000 calories a day (x4 what the average person needs). If he engages in strenuous physical activity (Combat or Sports), he will need an additional 8,000 for each hour he spends, even if taking short rests. Richard finds it hard to stay awake, and is considered exhausted, if his calorie count is -8,000 , if his calorie count reaches -10,000 in this way, he is rendered unconscious.
QUIRK FACTOR:
Power 2
Finesse 1
Stamina 2
COSTUME: When on duty or in training, Richard wears a suit of steel plate armor with leather underneath. The armor is English in design and weighs around 50 lbs total. The steel plates cover his torso, back, shoulders, elbows, forearms, thighs, knees, shins, and feet. The groin area and collar are semi-protected with a light layer of leather. Though it's not exactly a part of his costume, he wears a sheath on his back containing his steel bastard sword 'Evil's Bane'.
EXPERTISE:
SUPER MOVE: Huzzah! > Since Richard is covered in heavy plate armor, he charges directly into an opponent with a steel plated shoulder. This attack usually stuns an enemy long enough for him, or an ally to get an attack or two in.
APPEARANCE: Richard is an extremely muscular young man that stands at 5 feet 11 inches tall, and weighs 190 lbs (5-6% being fat, with a vast majority being muscle). His face has a very boyish look to it, even for a sixteen year old. He also possesses short, dark brown hair, and light blue eyes. Over all, he looks quite English.
BACKGROUND: Richard Pike was born in London England, to Howard and Mary Pike. The Pike family had been a long line of blacksmiths that dated all the way back to the 11th century. Though much information on his lineage is unknown, that much he did. The art of smiting had been pass from father to son for centuries, all the way to modern day. Richard would grow up like most kids, but always found an especially large interest in the stories of knights in English legend. He would hear of their valiant feats in combat, and wished to become one himself! Though the knights of old were long gone, he could still technically become a knight in modern times, of course, he was far too young at the age of six...
As Richard grew up, he strove to have the exact qualities of a knight, following a code of chivalry to the best of his ability. Upon reaching the age of five, the first signs of his quirk would manifest. He appeared to be strangely muscular for a young child, and could athletically out preform nearly all the other kids. The doctors confirmed their suspicions, saying that the boy's body was at the pentacle of human condition for his age! The man had never seen a healthier individual. Richard would learn a little about smiting from his father, but was given a book on medieval combat from his mother. Now that was something that interested him! How she got her hands on it, he had no idea, but that was fine.
Eventually the time would come when Richard would graduate middle school, and would begin to attend secondary school. He wouldn't just be attending any classes through. He would be in hero courses! Naming his quirk "Man Among Men", he would begin to learn what it truly meant to be a hero, and exactly how to become one.
A few months after the start of his schooling, a government festival would be held in the town square. The queen herself would be there to greet her subjects, as well as a few other nobles. A guy like him wouldn't miss something like this for the world. Everything would go as expected, and the queen herself would appear to the crowd from the top of a limousine! All wasn't well however, as a seven foot tall, brute of a villain seemed to crash the party! The muscle bound monster would charge at a duke's vehicle! There were other heroes there, but Richard was closer, only a mere ten feet away. Without thinking, he would jump in the way, and slice a gash across the monster of a man's chest. The villain would roar in pain, before knocking the teen out in a single strike...
The next morning, he would wake up in the hospital to hear good news. The festival had been saved by pro heroes, and he had assisted in a duke's defense. Because of that, he was to be knighted. It was the most wonderful news he'd ever heard!
Upon meeting the duke, he would introduce himself as Edmond the forth. The man was grateful for the boy's timely rescue, and wanted to grant him further acclaim. The duke would offer him a letter of recommendation to the highest form of hero education in the land, UA high. With his Quirk of unparalleled physical health, he would be an excellent fit...

EXPERTISE:
- Medieval Combat Training. Thanks to his love for medieval times, Richard has trained himself in the use of many medieval weapons and fighting styles. He did this by studying ancient books on the art of war, and copying the motions the knights preformed in the pictures. While this seemed simple or ineffective to most, the young boy would find himself adept in fighting with all melee weapons from the dark ages. He could even fight efficiently while armored.
