QUIRK CLASSIFICATION: MUTANT
QUIRK DESCRIPTION: Ishiyama's blood contains extremely high amounts of natron and various alkaline substances, which when exposed to the air undergo a dangerous reaction when they come into contact with any matter other than Ishiyama himself. A process similar to calcification dries out and preserves objects, stripping them of colour and leaving them in a state almost akin to being turned to stone. QUIRK POWER LIMIT: Due to his quirk relying on a part of his biology he desperately needs to survive, Ishiyama is normally limited to smaller uses of his quirk, and in moderation. Larger objects and mass use of his quirk requires more of his blood, which might leave him anywhere between light headed or dying of blood loss. Additionally, the larger an object, the longer it takes to change to stone, leaving additional time to attempt to neutralize the effect.QUIRK TECHNICAL LIMIT: Since his quirk requires contact with his blood to take effect, Ishiyama is limited in it's application by needing to find a way to project his blood without it contacting other matter in-between his target. If a strong enough acid or neutralizing agent is poured onto an affected object or area the effect is neutralized and the object returns to it's normal state. If you wash the blood off super fast it also has minimal effect. Petrify does not work on metallic substances or calcium-based constructs like teeth or bones.QUIRK BARRIER (Students ONLY): You're still in the conscious ignorance phase of learning your Quirk.
