NAME: Kagayaku Besuto
CODE NAME: Gold Scale
ALIGNMENT: Student (Third Year)
TITLE: None, for now at least.
AGE: 18
GENDER: Male (He/Him)
QUIRK NAME: KOBOLD
QUIRK CLASSIFICATION: MUTANT
QUIRK POWER LIMIT: As this is a mutation, it is always active, though when it comes to his prehensile tail, it will get tired, beaten, and sore like any other body part. The more strain on his body, less he can use it, just like any other person. But needless to say his durability is somewhat lesser than that of most people, a swift punch to the gut could get him dazed easily.
QUIRK TECHNICAL LIMIT: In slight cold he might get a little numb, but if it gets even mild, just below 60 degrees Fahrenheit, his body can shut down. He would need a pretty decent layer of warm clothing to stop this, perhaps to the point where it restricts his movements depending on just how cold it is.
QUIRK BARRIER: The aforementioned obsession with "shinies" has a powerful hold over him still, and could easily distract him from something even as important as a fight. He still has some ways to go before he can at least hold it down long enough to focus on an important objective when he notices some of that eye pleasing sparkly stuff.
QUIRK FACTOR:
Power 1
Finesse 2
Stamina 2
SUPER MOVE: Easy Target - Besuto, already not the most intimidating of people, will taunt and call out to enemies in hopes of grabbing their attention, trying to get them to focus on him, if not at least be distracted while an ally perhaps tries to do something without others noticing.
COSTUME: Besuto always makes sure to bring a small bag wrapped around his ankle, filled with little smoke bombs! He'll either take them out or cut the bag open with a clawed toe to create of burst of smoke that will obscure everyone's vision.
EXPERTISE: Master of Insight - While he did learn the basic sign language, Besuto also studied Riley's body language. With this, Besuto has gotten better and being able to see through other people as well, being able to more easily see whether intentions are true or not, or if they other person is just lying. Though even with being so great at it, he'd have to be intentionally trying to look for signs to give off what they other person is doing.
FLAW: Fragile Confidence - While Besuto does try his best, and has gained some courage to face others, he still feels terrible when someone calls him useless. He'll become less motivated for a while and less inclined to help in things, usually hiding from others in the nearest cabinet or drawer he can climb and fit into. While this is obviously only temporary, Besuto will also still be less likely to help anyone who said he's useless in the first place later down the line.
OOC: Riley belongs to someone else, I have just been given permission to mention them by their writer.

QUIRK NAME: KOBOLD
QUIRK CLASSIFICATION: MUTANT
QUIRK DESCRIPTION: KOBOLD is the pretty strange mixture between the quirks of Besuto's parents, his father having the quirk of LIZARD, and his mother, with METAL DETECTOR. He's small and reptilian like his father, with all the side effects of that in tact such as a prehensile tail and even see in the dark, he is also terrible in cold weather. But something coming from his mother's quirk, he has an obsession with anything shiny. If he sees something that sparkles in the light, he can't get his eyes off it, to the point where he gets the urge to want to take it for himself.

APPEARANCE
BACKGROUND: Besuto was born with a quirk, and while some people gain powers that could go as far as destroying buildings, Besuto was less fortunate. He was small, never growing past four feet tall, couldn't stand the cold, and he had a pretty crippling attachment to anything that he would refer to as "shinies", and to add onto that people never really saw much use for his quirk. Yeah he could see in the dark, he had an extra limb he could control too, but he was extremely outmatched in body to the point where it wasn't even funny. Besuto pretty much felt as if he couldn't do anything with any practical use, or it's what he would think until he realized something, people with quirks can be heroes. He never believed being a hero would be easy, but it was the closest he'd get to putting his abilities to use, and not to lie, yeah he liked the thought of having coin in his pocket, money is better when it's shiny.
The entrance exam for Besuto was, well wht he expected it to be, a nightmare for his kingd body. The practical test in any other circumstance would have been virtually impossible, and he wouldn't have passed if he didn't meet Riley. To be truthful, her appearance did weird him out a bit, but he had little room to talk, especially because of what she would do. Riley had actually helped him with the practical test, and had kept bots busy while he reached his small arms in open joints of them to rip their wiring out. With her help, he managed to get enough points to scrape by. After that, the two quickly became close friends, and while the first year was rough as he still got teased of his quirk being on the really weak side, they both hung out and would go through the first two years of UA together, Besuto learning her body language, sign language, and other ways to tell what she's saying along the way, where he'd essentially end up her translator. Their dynamic together alone made him feel worth while for once.
Now, though still pretty sure he shouldn't have made it in, he's grown just that little bit more confident in his own abilities, and looks to get through the third year like it's nothing. He's grown some guts, and while he still would enjoy the sight of some coin in his pocket, he's grown more attached to the idea of being a real hero, especially when he has someone both as trustworthy and powerful as Riley by his side.
OOC: Riley belongs to someone else, I have just been given permission to mention them by their writer.
