Oshiro Rin sipped her cappuccino. She'd arrived deliberately half an hour early; ever since her last meeting with Miyu, something had been playing at the back of her mind. Something had, at times, seemed very off about the individual. He only seemed genuine in his interactions with his daughter; his politeness and relative joviality with Hardstar had seemed strained and forced, a glimmer of darkness interceding at the corner of his mouth and the furrow of his brow. Still, it was likely he had good reason; Hardstar hadn't felt threatened, but nonetheless she liked to be cautious, and even arriving early would give her a slight situational advantage, assess the comings and goings of customers and passers-by.
She sat by the window in the corner of the room, the windows steamed up with warmth, moist air of the cafe against the cold weather outside. Rin herself was dressed in casual attire; a plain white tshirt, grey jeans and blue trainers.
If Miyu had a lead on Quirkless Oshiro-clan siblings, Rin had to know. The knowledge was worth any risk.
