Hammer found himself in a rather desperate situation. He had just got release on parole for good behavior and just being out in the streets for about a week wasn’t cutting it. The petty crimes that he was doing just to survive wasn’t cutting out for him. He also had tried to reapply to his old fishermen’s job and because of his parents deciding to move away out of the city because of their son given a longer sentence and hating the man he had become, he had lost all hope.
He now was a convicted felon and because that was on his record, no job would take him in. His halfway house required that he get a job but with no luck he had no choice but to turn to robbery or face being brought back into the system. The halfway was full of criminals and one of them was his inmate buddy known as slippery eddy, he had no quirk but he loved wearing a squid mask in order to do his crimes in disguise.
When the opportunity arose to commit a bank robbery and being suggested to do this with Eddy. He had no choice and the next day he got a gun that had the serial numbers removed from it and used the money he had acquired from doing petty crimes in order to buy it. Eddy his partner in crime, used his mothers car in order to use it as a getaway car. Upon arriving at the front of the bank, it was made clear that eddy would stay in the car while Hammer went in there and committed the crime. The truth is, Hammer was nervous and he held the gun on his lap. He’d swallow nervously and his partner touched his shoulder.
“It’s going to be alright Niko. You have done this before. Just in and out and that’s it.”
Hammer nodded and exited the car, rushing through the doors as he bashed his head through the wooden double doors. He’d fire to the air and immediately rushed over to the teller and aimed the gun at the teller’s face. The people were screaming and going to the ground while the teller immediately hit the concealed button underneath his register to alert the cops.
“Give me all of the money now!”
Within two minutes passing by, two large sacks were filled and Hammer dropped the gun and grabbing the two sacks of cash with him. He ran out of the building to see the cops already arriving on scene with Eddy driving off quickly. Hammer was panicking and he immediately ran through an alleyway with the two sacks in his hands, hoping that there was light at the end of this long and narrow alleyway that smelled horrible.
