NAME: Irene Newell
AGE: 15
GENDER: Female
QUIRK NAME: FULLCAPS
QUIRK CLASSIFICATION: EMITTER
QUIRK DESCRIPTION: What does your Quirk do? Be comprehensive and detailed. Alongside your background, this will likely be the most scrutinised part of your application. Consider the biological mechanisms that allow for your Quirk to function properly. Dual Quirks or half-and-half quirks are not allowed, and Quirks deemed too powerful will be denied.
All Quirks have raw output and operational or technical limits. Some of these can be subverted (not erased) through Adaptations, but starting characters will be hampered.
QUIRK POWER LIMIT: This is how much your Quirk-user can Quirk before they can Quirk no more. Please be humble. What happens when they run out of juice? Do they become comatose, crushed by pain, lose their voice, etc.?
QUIRK FACTOR:
Power x
Finesse x
Stamina x
FLAW: What permanent and actionable weakness does your character have outside of their Quirk? This could be something like crippling arachnophobia, the inability to swim, being horrible at math, etc. It doesn't have to be monumental, but it does have to be actionable by yourself and others and consequential during the shared story.
APPEARANCE: Give us a general idea of how your character looks here. Pictures and/or descriptions work for this.
BACKGROUND:
Irene's life was not what most would've called "easy".
While the circumstances surrounding the birth of most only tend to truly affect their lives in trivial ways as memory simply doesn't go back that far, for Irene it shaped her from the very start. Born to a lower middle class family in the northeast United States, things were fairly complicated from the beginning. A fairly sickly individual for most of her life, Irene's mother would pass during childbirth as a result of unfortunate complications - and as the first child born to the couple, that left only the girl's father Frank to act as both caretaker and family in a more general sense. Single income households rarely have it easy, and the Newell home was no exception due to the relatively high cost of living in the northeast shoreline towns. Caught in the whirlwind of events following the sudden trade in family members it came as a surprise to no one when the man was forced to sell the original home and move further inland due to costs, barely managing to balance his job and the responsibility of raising a daughter alone.

QUIRK TECHNICAL LIMIT: When or where or what can your character not Quirk? What can stop them from Quirk-ing? Is their Quirk unwieldy?
QUIRK BARRIER (Students ONLY): You're still in the conscious ignorance phase of learning your Quirk. What hangup do you have surrounding your Quirk? Think of this as an extra Power or Technical limit. All Students must have a Quirk Barrier. Upon graduation, Students will break their Quirk Barrier and gain a bonus Quirk Factor point something also good, TBA.
QUIRK FACTOR:
Power x
Finesse x
Stamina x
Quirk Factor refers to the natural characteristics of a Quirk. Power refers to raw output potential of a Quirk. Finesse refers to innate control and manageability. Stamina refers to prolonged use and resistance to negative effects of their Quirk. You have five (5) points to distribute between these attributes. A Quirk might be powerful but lack of Finesse, or have a variety of uses but be exhausting. Eraser Head's Erasure could be 3/1/1, for example; he has a strong ability, but only the one application and a low usage limit. Consider your description and limits when assigning numbers here, as the Quirk Factor will inform all combat.
SUPER MOVE: NAME > Description. Every character may start with one (1) Super Move, a once-per-thread special technique where they use the full potential of their Quirk in a dramatic manner. May be offensive, defensive, or supportive.
COSTUME: Your Costume has style, but it's also got function! What one (1) function does your costume have? This could include redirecting your Emitter into something useful, a SCUBA apparatus, Kevlar padding, etc.
EXPERTISE: What one (1) exceptional ability does your character have outside of their Quirk? This could be something like kung fu, or medical knowledge, or invention. An Expertise often accentuates the strength of a Quirk or covers a weakness. QUIRKLESS CHARACTERS CAN START WITH THREE (3) EXPERTISES. FLAW: What permanent and actionable weakness does your character have outside of their Quirk? This could be something like crippling arachnophobia, the inability to swim, being horrible at math, etc. It doesn't have to be monumental, but it does have to be actionable by yourself and others and consequential during the shared story.
